Concept Development

At our design studio, we are constantly travelling, reading and writing, keeping ourselves aware of the latest in design. We create new collections based on our customers requirements and their target group. After much research, supported by real world data, concepts and colours are presented. While concepts range from the experimentally innovative to the more practical but fresh perspective, prototyping is challengingly taken up in both. We also work with our clients production facility, if they require, working on process innovation based design. For the fashion industry, we work with the accepted norms of seasons, presenting new fabric collections and colour schemes based on the clients market positioning and forecasts.

 

Custom Interiors

We work with architects and decorators for home interiors and boutique hotel projects. This way, we are able to provide a wholistic solution to all the textile needs of the project, and also creating custom lighting, textile art installations, manufacturing small runs of exclusive hand printed and woven fabrics. For our more bespoke home interior collections, we assimilate the latest trends in furniture, lighting, architecture and interior design and present collections that will always be relevant to these influencing factors.

  

Prototyping & Sourcing

At our atelier in Coimbatore, we work and collaborate with local artisans to realise our concepts. Our constant link with artisan groups all over India with our various other projects gives us a living link to source and commission special pieces for any of our customers. We support community trade amongst the traditional crafts groups and fair trade amongst those that we have initiated and support. We also work towards maintaining the best working conditions for our groups and also provide our artisans the choice to work from their home, if they prefer. We have always advocated using natural dyes where ever it has been possible to initiate and continue, eco-friendly colours is a must in all our projects.
